Product demo
A short walkthrough of the whole product
Online Transcript turns YouTube videos, audio files and live streams into clean, readable text. The video below shows the full flow, from pasting a link to downloading the finished transcript.
What the video covers
- 00:05 — Paste a YouTube link. Drop the URL of any public video into the box. The site reads its length, estimates how long the transcript will take and shows how much of your monthly allowance it will use before anything starts. The video in the demo is 26 minutes long.
- 00:26 — Get the transcript. The audio is transcribed and then cleaned up: punctuation, capitals and paragraph breaks. You can switch between the polished version and the raw one, copy the text or download it as a .txt file.
- 00:51 — Upload an audio file. The same thing works with an MP3, WAV, M4A or OGG file from your own computer — an interview, a lecture, a meeting recording. The 36-second clip in the demo took about 8 seconds.
- 01:18 — Content tools. Turn the finished transcript into a publishable web article, a YouTube script, a short-form script or a social caption, without leaving the page.
- 01:43 — Live transcription (Pro). Capture a browser tab, a microphone or a stream URL and the text appears as the broadcast goes on, together with AI notes, a running summary, suggested questions and alerts on the words you choose to watch.
- 02:03 — Plans and pricing. The free plan gives 60 minutes of audio a month. Pro costs US$10 a month for 300 minutes, the fast engine and live transcription, and Max is US$30 a month with unlimited minutes.
- 02:25 — Lemon Squeezy checkout. Subscribing opens the Lemon Squeezy checkout. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record: it handles the card details, the tax and the invoice, and access is granted the moment the payment clears.
Try it yourself
No account and no card are needed to test it: open the home page, paste a YouTube link and you will have a transcript in under a minute. Details of both plans are on the pricing page.
