Online Transcript turns YouTube videos, audio files and live streams into clean, readable text. There are three plans. All of them are available immediately: nothing is shipped, nothing is made to order, and access is granted the moment a payment is confirmed.
Free — US$0
No card required. You can even transcribe without an account; in that case the monthly allowance is counted per IP address.
- 60 minutes of audio per month. The allowance is measured in minutes of audio, not in number of files, and resets on the first day of each calendar month.
- YouTube links and audio file uploads (MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG).
- Automatic punctuation and clean-up of the raw transcript.
- Download as plain text (.txt) or copy to the clipboard.
- Content tools (summary, web article, meeting notes) once you create a free account.
- Standard shared processing queue.
Pro — US$10 per month
A monthly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel. Everything in Free, plus:
- 300 minutes of audio per month (five hours), instead of 60.
- Priority cloud engine. Paid transcriptions are sent straight to the fast cloud engine instead of the shared queue, typically several times quicker for the same file.
- Live transcription. Transcribe a YouTube live stream in real time, with AI notes, a running summary and suggested questions as the stream goes on.
- Faster AI processing of the transcript (3–5 s instead of 16–30 s).
- Priority email support.
Max — US$30 per month
The same product as Pro with the monthly cap removed. It is meant for people who transcribe every day — newsrooms, podcast teams, researchers working through long archives.
- Unlimited minutes of audio. No monthly cap and no per-minute charge on top of the subscription.
- Everything included in Pro, with no other differences.
- Priority email support.
Unlimited means what it says for normal individual and team use. We reserve the right to contact an account whose use is clearly automated or resold to third parties, as described in the Terms of Service — in practice that has nothing to do with transcribing a lot.

Billing
- Prices are in US dollars and shown before you confirm. Any applicable sales tax or VAT is calculated and displayed at checkout.
- Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. They handle the card details, the invoice and the tax; we never see or store your card number.
- Both paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically on the same day each month until cancelled.
- Cancel at any time from the customer portal link in your Lemon Squeezy receipt, or by writing to us. Your paid features stay active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
- Access is granted instantly and automatically once the payment is confirmed — there is no manual setup, no waiting and nothing customised on our side.
What counts towards the allowance
Only the length of the audio you transcribe. A 10-minute video uses 10 minutes of your allowance whether you transcribe it once or leave it running. Reading, copying, downloading or reformatting a transcript you already produced costs nothing. If a file would not fit in what is left of your month, we tell you before starting rather than transcribing part of it. On Max there is no cap, so this never applies.
Changing or ending a plan
Upgrading takes effect immediately. To move between Pro and Max, cancel the current subscription in the Lemon Squeezy customer portal and subscribe to the other one, or write to us and we will arrange it. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period, after which the account returns to the Free plan and keeps working with the 60-minute allowance.
