Recordings made on a phone
Voice memos usually arrive as M4A and work directly, with no conversion step. Files recorded in a noisy room still transcribe, though names and technical terms are where mistakes show up first.
If the recording has two people at different distances from the microphone, expect the quieter voice to be the weaker part of the transcript.
Long files
Length is not a problem in itself — the limit is the monthly minutes of your plan, not the size of a single file. A two-hour recording simply uses two hours of your quota.
The free plan gives you 60 minutes a month; Pro raises it to 300 and Max removes the limit.

Which formats are supported?
MP3, WAV, M4A and OGG. If you have a video file, export the audio first and upload that.
Is my file stored?
The file is processed to produce your transcript and is not shared with anyone.
Can I transcribe several files at once?
They are processed one at a time. Upload the next one as soon as the previous transcript is on screen.
